Behaviour of new version?
The FWM module has been adopted completely by the 9300 Servo PLC with regard to the handling of errors, warnings and messages. As a result a uniform behaviour of all three hardware platforms has been achieved (Servo PLC, Drive PLC and ECS).
The L_FWM function module is not used any longer.

ECS axis module B-SW V3.0
What happens?
The L_FWM function module supplies the user program with incorrect parameters.
When does the problem occur?
Depending on the operating states error messages are sometimes not correctly transferred to the user program.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
We warn against using the L_FWM function module since we do not clearly know when error messages are transferred incorrectly. If this incorrect error message is evaluated by a superimposed control corresponding malfunctions may occur.
