What happens?
When writing code C0506 (selection of RAM blocks) the value 0.9999 instead of 1.0000 is indicated in the entry box of GDC. After acknowledgement by pressing the OK button or by accepting the values the following message is indicated: 'Value is outside the display range'.
When does the problem occur?
If the device is reinitialised / switched on and the parameters are read back from the drive in GDC (F7). Once a valid value has been written the deviation does not occur any longer.
Possible diagnostics?
The value displayed under code C0506 in GDC is not correct.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Change the value displayed under C0506 to a valid value before writing.
Evaluation:
The function is not affected. The display value deviates only.
