Functional Enhancement:
Until now, fieldbus communication settings—such as the PROFINET station name—were always initialized from the base device’s retain data memory when the firmware was started or restarted.
With this functional enhancement, the system now distinguishes whether the restart occurs automatically after downloading the device application (parameters + PLC project packaged in an *.lda file). In this case, initialization occurs from the parameter set rather than from theretain data memory. This ensures thatfieldbus communication settings from the data backup in the *.lda file become active.
This mechanism applies to all fieldbuses.

Application:
The use cases are batch commissioning and device replacement.
The data backup in the *.lda file is used to transfer the entire i950 configuration to other devices via EASY Starter or Application Loader.
