It was not possible, during a positioning operation, to specify a new target position and approach it without issuing a new start signal.
The option to set and approach a new target position during an ongoing positioning operation—without requiring a new start signal—has been adopted and implemented from the i950.
This means that no additional start signal is required as long as a new target position is specified while the system is in motion.
