Description of behavior: 

  • The higher-level Profinet master displays error messages during process data communication.
  • No PDO data is exchanged between the Lenze controller and the Profinet master.
  • The PDO data is not displayed correctly in PLC Designer.
  • The Lenze controller does not report any error messages regarding Profinet communication.

Conditions under which the behavior occurs: 

The behavior described above occurs when the Lenze controller communicates with a Profinet master via its Profinet interface and the Lenze controller has firmware version 1.15.1.

Cabinet Controller c550 from V1.15.1

 

Short-term measures, recommendations, assessment: 

Use the EASY Firmware Loader to update the firmware of the Lenze controller to version 1.15.0 or, as soon as it becomes available, to version 1.15.2.

There is no alternative workaround for a Lenze controller with firmware version V1.15.1.
