Fixed from
EASY Starter V1.29
PLC Designer V4.1
Behavior of the new version:
The 'PDO configuration' panel on the 'Settings' tab of the i950 in the 'Communication\Fieldbus\CANopen' settings dialog has been expanded as follows for 'RRPDO':
- The 'Transmission type' drop-down field has been expanded to include the selection 'synchronous (cyclic)'.
- If the selection is set, the number of sync telegrams with which the receive telegram is accepted can be entered via the new 'Number of sync' field.
Both fields together result in the value to be set in the parameters 0x2304/42 , 0x2304/52 , 0x2304/62 , 0x2304/72.
As this transmission mode can now also be set or displayed in the settings dialog, the parameters remain unchanged when the settings dialog is opened. The Synchronous Transmission Type values in the range 1...240 are fully supported.
- In the 'Transmission type' drop-down field for 'RPDO' in the 'PDO configuration' panel on the 'Settings' tab of the i950 in the 'Communication\Fieldbus\CANopen' settings dialog, the selection 'synchronous (cyclic)' is missing.
- The parameters 0x2304/42 , 0x2304/52 , 0x2304/62 , 0x2304/72 (CANopen settings: RPDOx - Transmission type') are reset to 0.
Conditions under which the behavior occurs:
The following procedure leads to an unintended parameter change:
- User changes the parameter '(CANopen setting: RPDO1 - Transmission type (0x2304:042)' in the parameter list of an Inverter i950 from the initial value '0'to a value between '1' and '253'.
- The 'PDO configuration' panel is opened on the 'Settings' tab of the i950 in the 'Communication\Fieldbus\CANopen' settings dialog.
The parameter is reinitialized to its initial value '0' without any further action by the user.
Affected products:
EASY Starter from V1.27
PLC Designer from V4.0
PLC Designer V3.x
Short-term measures, Recommendations, Evaluation:
Do not open the above CANopen dialog if you are using transmission type values in the range 1…240.
