Function extension:
External load sensor:
The error response when an error is detected on the external load sensor can now be parameterized.
In addition to the Safe Torque Off (STO) function, the Safe Limited Speed (SS1) function can now also be set.>

Two-sensor concept(0x287A:001 >=1):
If the tolerance of the speed or position comparison is exceeded during operation, STO is activated immediately.
This can occur, for example, if the position detection of an external load sensor is disrupted or faulty.
Activating STO in conjunction with activating a mechanical brake from a moving state can result in wear, and machine damage and should therefore be avoided.
Starting with Safety Firmware V01.05.00 and version 1.5 of the safe parameter set, it is possible to parameterize the SS1 or STO functions in response to a detected load cell error.
A position jump or a freezing of the position is detected as an error in the load sensor.
The error responses between the two diagnostic marks (0x287A:010) or in the end ranges (0x287A:011) can be selected separately.
If no diagnostic marks are parameterized, only 0x287A:010 is effective.
The height of the permissible jump for jump width monitoring can be parameterized in 0x287A:012.
Between detection of the error at the load sensor and activation of the
stop function, the response time parameterized in 0x2878:004 must be taken into account.
For compatibility reasons, the STO error response is the
factory setting.

Servo Inverter i950 Safety Extended: from V01.05.00;
Application:
If the two-encoder concept is used in the i950ES for safe speed evaluation and one of the encoder systems fails, STO (possibly in combination with a brake) is activated immediately.
If the movement of a machine with high inertia (e.g., storage and retrieval machine) is interrupted immediately, this can result in machine damage or high wear on a mechanical brake. The Extended Safety component detects which encoder system has a fault. If the load encoder is defective, the machine can be stopped via a braking ramp (e.g., QSP). If the motor encoder is defective, STO is activated immediately. [Automatic Translation]
