Future Day 2026: Around 45 young people discover technology and career opportunities at Lenze

On April 23, 2026, Lenze opened its doors for Future Day 2026. Around 45 pupils from grades 5 to 9 took the opportunity to get to know the company. In seven workshops, a company rally and a sales block, the young people experienced the diversity of technical and commercial professions at first hand.

Future Day is more than just a day of action: it offers young people the opportunity to explore career prospects at an early stage and to develop an interest in technical and commercial professions. For Lenze, the Future Day is an opportunity to present itself as an employer in the region, to address potential junior staff and to make a contribution to the professional orientation of young people.

Practice instead of theory: workshops to try out and tinker with

At the Groß Berkel site, the pupils were given insights that went far beyond school lessons. The workshops for trying things out, tinkering and working were particularly exciting for the specialists of tomorrow: in the Arduino workshop, they programmed a flashing light with a microcontroller based on the Arduino open source platform. In the metal workshop, they made a cell phone holder that they could take home as a tangible souvenir. The marketing workshop showed them how to present, advertise and sell products professionally - skills that go beyond technical know-how.

At the request of the young people, the IT area was more closely integrated than in previous years - a sign that Lenze is responding to the interests of the participants. There was also a sales block in which Lenze products and where they are used were presented.

Instead of a traditional factory tour, the students explored the site as part of a company rally in which they solved tasks and gained real insights behind the scenes of a manufacturing company.

Strong team, successful day

The Future Day was organized by the company's own trainees with the support of the trainers. They guided the young people through the day - from the welcome to the presentation of certificates, which brought an intensive day full of new impressions to a worthy close.

The Future Day showed that Lenze is investing in the next generation and in the future of the region. Many thanks to all trainees for their support and to all participating students. We are already looking forward to the next Future Day!
