Digitalization experts meet at Lenze

Around 80 digitalization experts from industry, the retail and wholesale trade met on Tuesday (18.02.2020) for the Stibo Systems Step Up User Group at the Lenze headquarters in Hamelin. The question of how the enormous and constantly growing data volumes in companies can be kept under control and used to create value, was the focus of the one-day networking event. Lenze CEO Christian Wendler opened the occasion by demonstrating that Lenze is also a pioneer when it comes to digitalization. Dieter Schöneberg, expert for product data management at Lenze, provided insights into the digital processing and preparation of product data as a basis for e.g. configuration, online shops and the support of digital engineering processes with the digital twin.

Gerd Schüler, Group Process and Quality Manager at Lenze:

"One of the aims of digitalization is to automate recurring and, above all, non-value-adding processes in companies and thus become more efficient. The prerequisite for this is good, structured data that can be made available for further use in a wide variety of channels. This is where we and our partner Stibo Systems are at the forefront".

Statement Andreas Sperling, Senior Account Manager Stibo Systems GmbH:

"Despite all digitalization, nothing beats direct and personal exchange between users - the lively discussions today proved this. The 5th User Group Meeting was again a complete success. My special thanks go to Lenze for their hospitality and the exciting in-house exhibition, which showed the enthusiasm with which digitalization is being implemented here".
