Two at one go - Lenze can currently look forward to two top positions in prestigious rankings of the German economy: firstly, with a "very good" assessment of our attractiveness as an employer in the ranking of the renowned daily newspaper "Die Welt" and secondly, with an improvement to 20th place in the medium-sized company ranking 10,000 of the online platform "Die Deutsche Wirtschaft" (DDW).
In a major nationwide survey conducted by "Die Welt" with more than 820,000 respondents, the daily newspaper chose the best employers in Germany and Lenze is right at the top. In several partial surveys, citizens were asked about how well-known various companies are and how they rate their attractiveness as employers. In the category "Industrial Employer", Lenze was certified as a very attractive employer. A total of 4,009 companies from the industrial, service and trade sectors were evaluated. The Cologne-based analysis institute ServiceValue GmbH in cooperation with the newspaper itself is responsible for the survey. More information on the survey can be found at www.arbeitgeber-image.de.
In the "Mittelstand 10,000" ranking, the portal "Die Deutsche Wirtschaft" identified and analysed the 10,000 most important medium-sized companies in Germany in a permanent research process. The authors of the information network include entrepreneurs, board members, politicians and economic experts. Lenze was able to improve its performance for the 3rd time in a row. Compared to last year, the ranking moved up a full 14 places, so that this year Lenze is in 20th place for the first time. We are thus one of the top 20 companies in the German SME sector.
The DDW ranking includes companies in German ownership with an annual turnover of up to one billion euros. However, in order to determine the actual importance of a company, the ranking is based on much more than just the pure turnover size. In addition to the "hard" key figures such as turnover and number of employees, a scoring system also takes into account 24 other factors such as the R&D share, research cooperations, university partnerships, the range of dual study programmes on offer, the age of the company, ISO certifications or, by adopting the Sixtrix value, visibility on the Internet. "German Mittelstand" - worldwide, the strong midsize companies in Germany are synonymous with technological strength, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. And indeed - the SME sector not only stands for the vast majority of all companies in Germany - a total of more than 3 million, but also for around 60 percent of all jobs and over 80 percent of all training positions.
