What must be observed if HIPERFACE DSL® encoders other than the Lenze standard type EKM36 are to be evaluated on i950 / i750?

Only the use of Sick type EKM36-xKF0B020A (20 bit resolution, multiturn) has been verified by Lenze.
Other encoders, such as the EKM36-xKF0B018A (18-bit multiturn), are very likely to be evaluable. However, there is no official verification from Lenze. In customer responsibility, a use after customer validation would be conceivable. However, not in conjunction with extended safety functions that require encoder positions or speeds from this encoder.
Only Lenze motors with EKM36-2KF0B020A can be used in conjunction with Extended Safety.
The EMC immunity of HIPERFACE DSL® communication is only verified together with the Lenze hybrid cable EYP0080AxxxxM11A00 and the hybrid plug connection on Lenze motors. In the case of third-party motors and/or third-party cables, EMC interference immunity is the customer's responsibility.
