If the machine has to be braked or brought to a standstill in a short time, the motor at the inverter runs in regenerative mode. The resulting energy can be dissipated with a brake resistor. The ERBM brake resistors have a housing made of aluminum profile and are mounted next to the inverter. They are connected via a ready-made connecting cable and a thermal contact is integrated for temperature monitoring.
