Lenze EDS-files for CANopen and Systembus CAN-communication modules

Description:

By means of the EDS files, which you can download here, the Lenze communication modules for the AIF and FIF interfaces are inserted into the CANopen configuration software.

System requirements:
The single EDS files describe the implemented CANopen functionalities of the corresponding communication modules and the on board Lenze systembus CAN. For the following communication modules and drive controllers EDS-files are available:

  • 1_Servo Inverter
  • 2_Inverter_Drive
  • 3_IO Systems
  • xx_Previous Products

Note:

The current EDS file for the 9400 and 8400 device series is provided in the Engineer. In order to export the file required, click with the right-hand mouse button on the CANonBoard branch of the requested drive in the project tree and select EDS Export.

The following applies to the EDS files mentioned before:

From the file name it is not obvious for which combination of drive controller and CAN (communication module, on board CAN) the EDS file can be used. The pdf-file contains a list informing about the assignment of the EDS-files to the corresponding drive controller.
