Get to the point: Lenze proposes on the market its new frequency converter i500.

2014

Lenze Bachofen AG celebrates 40 years of success in the Swiss market.

Our Swiss homepage now appears in a  new look.  It has been adapted to the corporate design of Lenze

2013

Market introduction of the Smart Motor m300 and the new transmission line g500 produced by Lenze.

2012

Lenze Bachofen AG creates the brand "Lenze Performance Partner" for still improved follow-up of final customers. The partners Elwitec GmbH and Incontrol AG receive the first quality seal  "Lenze Performance Partner".

2011

Market introduction of the new Servo-Inverter i700 for multi- axes applications produced by Lenze.

2010

Addition to the family of decentralized inverters: The Inverter Drives 8400 motec is introduced onto the market.

Lenze makes a further important Step in the field of automation in presenting its new control platform – the Controller 3200C. The new hardware platform is designed fort he efficient implementation of control systems and motion control applications.

With the inverter Drives 8400 Top Line, Lenze closes the gap to the Servo Drives. The inverter has servo qualities and is suited for positioning applications with high-level dynamic and precision requirements.

2009

In October of this year Lenze AG is changed in Lenze SE (sociatas europaea). The new legal form offers the basis for a future oriented evolution of the company.

Lenze evolves from status of a mere specialist in drive technology to a partner for complete solutions in drive technology and automation.

2008

Ready to Rightsize! – With this slogan the new generation of frequency converters, the "L-force Inverter Drives 8400" are launched.

2007

Lenze Bachofen AG becomes the general importer for servo-, linear-, and torque motors produced by the Czech company VUES BRNO s.r.o.

2006

The first customer is connected to Lenze Bachofen AG via an EDI link.

2005

Start of the market introduction of the   L-force Servo Drives 9400.

2004

Lenze Bachofen AG celebrates its 30th anniversary in introduces a modern, up to date logo.

Implementation of  SAP/R3 and connection to the SAP world of Lenze.

2002

Lenze Bachofen AG moves to the office space at Ackerstrasse 45 in Uster.

1999

Lenze Bachofen AG celebrates its 25th anniversary.

With the program standard IEC 1131, Lenze integrates, for the first time, PLC functions into a drive control system.

1998

Market launch of the frequency converter 8200  motec and the transmission program.

1997

The Lenze Group celebrates its 50th anniversary.

1996

An ultra-modern factory for the automated line production of servo- and frequency converters is put into operation.

1995

At the beginning of this year, the new transmission line (GnG) is introduced .

1994

The frequency converter range 8200 is put onto the market and meets great interest.

The DIN ISO 9001 certification also for Lenze Bachofen.

1991 - 1993

Introduction of a DIN ISO 9001 certified quality management system at Lenze.

1987

Frequency converters are equipped with microprocessors; serial field bus communication becomes possible.

1986

Starting signal for the servo technology (controller and special motors).

1984

Simplana Bachofen AG changes to <Lenze Bachofen AG.

1978

The first in-house made DC motor fitted with an in-house spur wheel reduction gear is put onto the market.

1977

Lenze launches the first frequency converter for the control of AC-motors.

1976

Worm drive reduction gears are manufactured at the Lenze factory.

1974

The Simplana Bachofen AG is founded at Uster near Zurich.
