Petra Gerweck appointed Executive Vice President Human Resources at Lenze

Petra Gerweck (56) will assume the newly created role of Executive Vice President Human Resources at Lenze, the world's leading automation company, on February 1st, 2019. She will be responsible for strategic and international human resources management at Lenze, reporting directly to CEO Christian Wendler.

"We have been able to gain an experienced manager for Lenze in Ms. Gerweck, who has many years of experience in management positions in the human resources sector in international groups and medium-sized companies and has particular expertise in the implementation of change processes. Ms. Gerweck will be particularly instrumental in further progressing internationalisation in the HR department at Lenze," says Christian Wendler.

Ms. Gerweck previously held managerial HR positions at companies including Dystar Textilfarben, the biopharmaceutical company CSL Behring and Novem Car Interior. In her most recent position as Vice President of Human Resources & Legal, she was responsible for the management of human resources and legal affairs at the Tristone Flowtech Group, an international automotive supplier. This role involved her being responsible for all legal matters as well as the strategic and operational human resources management of the Group.

Ms. Gerweck studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and completed her legal clerkship at the Limburg District Court with a second state examination.
