2nd place for Lenze's IE5/IE6 motor drive system in the Computer & Automation readers' poll "Products of the Year 2026"

The Computer & Automation readers' poll "Products of the Year 2026" has been decided: Lenze achieved an excellent second place in the Drive Technology category with its Motor Drive System IE5/IE6 with i650 motec. The result shows that Lenze's drive system is very popular with the readers of the trade media.

Lenze already achieved second place with its motor drive system in the readers' poll of the trade magazine Materialfluss. The award from Computer & Automation confirms this positive response and underlines the technological performance of the Motor Drive System IE5/IE6. In the "Drive Technology" category, Lenze was only just behind Bosch Rexroth, which took first place with its ctrlX DRIVE cabinet-free. Nabtesco secured third place with its digital shaft gearbox.

The specialist medium Computer & Automation reports on around 600 products every year. From this pool, the editorial team selected 96 particularly exciting innovations in twelve categories, including drive technology, robotics & handling and electromechanics. The selected products were put to the vote in the December issue. Readers were able to vote until March 2, 2026. With over 19,300 hits, the reader poll recorded a high level of participation.

Christian Lutsch, Head of GKAM Projects & Support, accepted the award on behalf of Lenze at the celebratory "Winners Dinner" in Munich.
