The transformation of Lenze AG into a public limited company of European law (SE = Societas Europaea) was completed on 14th of October 2009 when it was registered as such a company at the local court in Hanover. The new legal form of the company is a good basis for the pioneering further development of the company.

"By transforming the company into an SE, we present ourselves consistently as a European company. We will also improve our international profile and our brand image even more", explained Dr. Erhard Tellbüscher, Chairman of the Board of Management of Lenze SE. In addition, being an SE simplifies establishment of the company's status in terms of corporate law on the European level. This will ensure a more flexible framework for the Lenze Group in future. The new legal form also benefits the employees in that it enables them to participate on a European level.
