Quality assurance measures to avoid errors

Quality assurance measures are implemented as a way of avoiding errors during development and implementation of safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS). This verification and validation (V&V) is a part of EN ISO 13849.

The stipulation here is that the design of a safety-relevant control function must be checked. The validation must also show that the combination meets the corresponding requirements for each safety function of the safety-relevant parts.
