Personal data that you provide to us as a customer or prospect (e.g. personally, at trade fairs, surveys, telephone, etc.), is used for contact maintenance, for information on products or of the company, invitation to events, etc.

Customer Quote Request and Order Processing

Your personal data, which you make available to us within the scope of the request for quotation, order processing, license processing, configurations, etc. will be used to process the respective business transactions with you.

Supplier Management and Order Processing

Personal data that you provide to us as part of the settlement of inquiries, orders, etc. will be used for the processing of the respective business transactions with you.

Video Surveillance

We would like to inform you that parts of our buildings or properties are being monitored by video. On the local signs we inform you about

  • The responsible company of the Lenze group and the contact person on site, this can provide you with additional information on the technology used, etc. if necessary.
  • The video surveillance systems used serve to enforce our house law and to protect our legal assets.
  • In exceptional cases, we use video surveillance systems to document projects or construction activities. We refer to different storage methods or times in these cases.

Websites

For the Lenze Group, it is especially important to guarantee the maximum possible protection for your individual personal data. Our Internet activities in all the countries where we maintain websites are, therefore, in accordance with the data-protection and data-security laws that are applicable there. In the following text, we indicate what information we gather and what we do with it.

Personal data

We do not collect any personal data via our Websites without your consent. You alone decide whether you wish to disclose this data or not, for instance in the course of registration, a request or other such procedure. We use your personal data in order to respond to a request, process your order or to grant you access to special information or offers. In the interests of nurturing customer relationships, it may also be beneficial for us to store and process your personal data and pass it to the company in the country you have indicated in your request.

We store IP addresses for a maximum of 14 days. This information is stored for data integrity reasons, so that we are able to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

If you do not wish to divulge your personal data to us within the context of fostering our customer relationship (and particularly for the purposes of direct marketing or market research), we will of course respect your wishes. We will not sell your personally identifiable information.

When you enter data on forms, you do so voluntarily. However, your consent to the collection, storage and processing of your data can be revoked by you at any time. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.



Collection and use of personal data in the context of job applications

Your data will only be collected and processed for the purpose of filling job vacancies on offer within the Lenze Group. The company that is looking to fill a vacancy and shows its address on the invitation to submit applications is responsible for data collection in this sense, i.e. when an application is submitted for a specific job that is being offered. If you apply for a specific job for which applications have been invited by a company within the Lenze Group, your data will be passed on to the persons/departments responsible for human resources. You can permanently withdraw this consent at any time by sending an e-mail to the contact person named in the job advertisement. If you submit an unsolicited job application, your data will automatically be sent to the relevant person(s)/department(s) responsible for human resources in accordance with your particular skills, abilities, and qualifications. Your data will then be used by the responsible persons/departments solely for the purpose of evaluating your job potential.

Deletion of data

If you have applied for a job but your data ceases to be needed for this purpose, we ensure that your data is automatically deleted from our system. Processes have been created that guarantee automatic deletion of data when such data is no longer needed for the purpose for which we originally collected it or when the data retention period has expired. In the event of a negative decision, you job application data will be deleted after 6 months. If your profile is of general interest to us, we would like to include you in our standing pool of job applicants but we will, of course, ask for your consent to do so beforehand.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information on your personal data that we have a record of in our system. Moreover, you have the right to delete or block impermissible data and to correct any false data that we have stored in our system. To do so, you can send an e-mail to the contact person named in the job advertisement.


Use of cookies

"We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer by your browser. They serve to increase the usability, effectiveness and security of the website. Session cookies are deleted again from your hard disk after the end of your browser session. Permanent cookies remain on your computer and enable us to identify your computer on your next visit. You can configure your browser so as to be informed about the placement of cookies, to decide to accept these on a case-by-case basis or to completely exclude all incoming cookies. Piwik (Matomo) Analytics

Our website uses the Piwik web analytics service so that we can analyse how people use our website and make ongoing improvements to what it provides. For this purpose, Piwik saves cookies (text files) on your computer via the browser. The user information obtained from evaluating these cookies is passed on to Piwik and stored for analysis purposes. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie on your use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, compile reports on website activity and provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. This data is used to create user profiles under a pseudonym.

This website uses Google Analytics reports on demographic characteristics in which data from interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor data from third party providers (e.g. age, gender and interests) is used. This data cannot be attributed to a specific person and can be deactivated at any time using the browser settings.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP address anonymisation. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within the area of Member States of the European Union or in other countries which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. The IP address transferred by your browser during the use of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

Preventing Google from collecting data

Google Tag Manager

This website uses the Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager allows you to manage website tags from a user interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not record any personal data. The tool triggers other tags that record data in some circumstances. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation was made at the domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Google Maps

Our website uses an API to Google Maps from Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). In this context, it is necessary to process your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there. We have no influence on this data transfer. See the Google Privacy Policy for more information.

Use of Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

The download files of the Application Knowledge Base and Technical Documentation areas at lenze.com are stored by the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) company, P.O. Box 81226, Seattle, WA 98108-1226 in the data centre in Frankfurt/Main and provided worldwide. Lenze has no influence on the type and scope of information that is collected, processed or used by AWS associated with the download offer. Further information can be obtained from the AWS data protection notice.


Provision of 2D / 3D CAD data

The CAD files in the EASY Product Finder range at lenze.com are stored by the KiM GmbH company, Tritschlerstrasse 1, D-66606 St. Wendel in a German data centre and provided worldwide.

For each generated and loaded file (e.g. CAD, PDF, pixel images) and each direct insertion into CAD systems (CADClick® "Click2CAD"), Lenze stores a data set in one of the statistics databases available on the server. This statistic data is further compressed and used for optimising the CAD service in an anonymised form.


Social media

Social media in general

We also offer you through our social media pages (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIn) based on Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR has an extensive personal support and the possibility to stay in touch with us. These social media services collect personally identifiable information, e.g. via their profile or social plug-ins, which are implemented in third party websites.

When you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective companies. The content of the plugins is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the website. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that the respective companies collect with the help of these plugins. We therefore inform you according to our knowledge:

By incorporating the plugins, the respective companies receive the information that they have called the corresponding page of our Internet presence. If you are logged in to one of the companies listed above, you can assign the visit to your local account. When you interact with the plugins, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the respective company and stored there. If you do not have an account with any of the companies listed above, you may still be able to find and store your IP address.

Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that every visitor to our website is registered by the company listed above by his IP address and the URL called up, even if he does not click on the plugins and also does not use a user account at is registered with the company.

Data collection and processing when contacting us

When you send us messages via Facebook, we receive the following data from Facebook:

If you contact us via email or via other Facebook features (such as comments), the information you provide will be stored as well as your username and other information about your Facebook usage behaviour. A transfer to third parties does not take place unless your request requires this. In case of doubt, we will explicitly point it out.

Link2Lenze

Link2Lenze is an online platform that allows you as a user to get in-depth information on Lenze solutions, news and events.

If you join Link2Lenze and create a profile, which may be comfortably done by logging in with your LinkedIn-account, you gain the possibility to obtain detailed company related information from Lenze. After logging in with your LinkedIn-account, LinkedIn provides us with parts of the personal information which you want to share with others. You may directly control what information is shared in your LinkedIn profile options, located on www.linkedIn.com.

In order to present you with specific personalised information on the content that really interests you, we track your clicks on our Link2Lenze platform, including the frequency of your visits and the individual content that you have viewed. This information will also be used to continuously improve the Link2Lenze platform and Lenze content to inform our target groups.

Each item, such as news, solutions and events, on Link2Lenze may be shared with your contacts and friends. If you share an item, the corresponding URL that leads to the item on Link2Lenze will contain the information that the item has been shared. If the person you sent the link to also creates a Link2Lenze profile, you will be awarded a conversion. We can only tell that you successfully shared an item but we cannot tie your conversion to a specific new user. This information is used to continuously improve the Link2Lenze platform.

Based on the information you provided us with, both from LinkedIn and collected on our Link2Lenze platform, we would like to contact you. Lenze SE is an international company and we want to provide you with contacts from a Lenze Sales organisation near you. In order to accomplish that, we will add the information collected on Link2Lenze, including contact information and interests, into our Company Customer Relations Management system (CRM) which is maintained for all legal entities within the Lenze Group. The Sales Specialist that is responsible for your region may gain access to your information in our CRM and may subsequently contact you. You may also be presented with the possibility to follow our Sales Specialists on LinkedIn.

Leaving Link2Lenze: Revoking your consent

Should you decide to end your participation on Link2Lenze, please send an e-mail to link2lenze@lenze.com and provide your name as it is represented in your LinkedIn profile and tell us that you want to leave Link2Lenze. We need this information in order to identify your Link2Lenze profile. We will then delete all personal information associated with your Link2Lenze profile and confirm the deletion via e-mail. Lenze SE may keep fully anonymized information, such as usage statistics, that cannot be tied to you.

You may, at any time, rejoin Link2Lenze. Please note that rejoining Link2Lenze will create an entirely new profile that cannot be tied to your former profile.

You may also, at any time, request the deletion of your personal information from our Customer Relations Management system (CRM). In order to do so, please contact our Data Protection Officer (refer to contact information at the bottom of the page).


Use of the online shop

Offer inquiry and ordering process

We collect, save and process any personal information provided by you for offer inquiries and orders only inside our company and associated companies as well as the company contracted with processing your orders solely for the purpose of performing and completing order processes including the associated payment transactions.
